The rules of the house.

These Terms of Use govern your access to the Ravengard website, our community game servers for SCP: Secret Laboratory, and our Discord server. By logging in, connecting an account, or joining a server, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. Ravengard is an independent community and is not affiliated with Northwood Studios.

1. Accounts

• You log in with Discord and link a Steam account to be whitelisted. You are responsible for keeping those accounts secure.
• You may link Patreon to receive supporter perks. One person may not operate multiple accounts to evade bans or gain unfair advantage.
• You must meet the minimum age requirements of Discord and Steam to use our services.
• Providing false information or impersonating others may result in removal from the community.

2. Acceptable use & conduct

While using our servers, Discord, and website, you agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, use unauthorized third-party software, or otherwise gain an unfair advantage.
• Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or harm other players or staff.
• Disrupt rounds, grief teammates, or interfere with the normal operation of the servers.
• Evade bans or other moderation actions.
• Post illegal, malicious, or harmful content, or attempt to disrupt our infrastructure.

Our staff may enforce these rules at their discretion, including warnings, mutes, kicks, removal of perks, and temporary or permanent bans. We use automated risk assessment and logging to help keep the servers fair and safe.

3. Perks & virtual items

• Supporter perks, ranks, reserve slots, and RavenCoins are licenses to use features within our community — not goods you own, and they have no real-world cash value.
• RavenCoins are a free in-game micro-currency earned through play. They cannot be bought with real money, are not redeemable for cash, and the in-game shop trades only in RavenCoins.
• We do not currently sell anything for real money on this website.
• Patreon perks last only while your pledge is active; expired pledges have their perks revoked. Patreon pledges are handled by Patreon under its own terms.
• We may change, add, or remove perks, RavenCoin balances and earn rates, and in-game features at any time.

4. User content

Names, messages, and other content you submit must comply with these terms and the rules of the relevant platform. You are responsible for what you post, and you grant us permission to display content such as your public profile name and gameplay stats on leaderboards and round reports.

5. Availability & changes

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and servers, features, stats, or perks may change or be discontinued at any time. We are not liable for lost progress, virtual items, or perks resulting from outages, data loss, or changes to the service.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the community at any time for breaking these terms or our rules. You may stop using our services at any time and request account deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the community evolves. Material changes will be announced on our Discord, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
